About jonathan doe
Oh, hear me now, ye people all,
And listen to my tragic tale,
Of jonathan doe, a man forlorn,
Whose life was rent by love's cruel gale.
He had a wife, so fair and sweet,
Whose name was Michael, bless her soul,
But little did he know, poor man,
She'd cheat on him and take a toll.
When jonathan found out the truth,
His heart was shattered, his world undone,
But worst of all, he'd have to pay
Child support for his wife's firstborn son.
He tried to fight it, tooth and nail,
But lawyers said he had no chance,
And so he paid, with a heavy heart,
For his wife's reckless, wanton romance.
Oh, cruel fate, why must it be,
That a man must pay for another's sin,
But jonathan, he bore his cross,
And tried to rebuild his life again.
So let this be a lesson learned,
To all you men who love and trust,
That though life may deal you bitter blows,
Your soul must never turn to dust.
