Draft your army, choosing elite troops, melee footmen soldiers or ranged archers then deploy them on the battle field and then do battle with the enemy troops until you are victorious or utterly defeated."

A fun strategy game about the struggle for the English throne in 1066 made by Channel 4 and/or Preloaded, featuring a short campaign/story covering the Battle of Fulford, Battle of Stamford Bridge, and Battle of Hastings. This was on kongregate, but flash doesn't work so I had to download the SWF, you can find it at
