0Gonna leave the title card on this one as Jotun, since we'll probably be playing Wall World a lot more due to the nature of roguelikes, and this stream was almost a 50/50 for runtime between the two.
Wall World storymode, let's see if we can take on the Leviathan! This game has such neat mining and combat combined in a really fun way, I just wish the story beats weren't quite so heavy handed on ending a run till you've unlocked the next part of the story via successive gameplay loops. We'll be coming back to this one to see where it takes us though!
Jotun: Valhalla Edition was an unexpected masterpiece, the art was gorgeous and never stopped giving the sense that you were a tiny hooman in the afterlife, trying to prove your wit and skill against deities far beyond your capabilities. The scale of things, the way you interact with any of the bosses, the feeling of triumph when felling an ice giant, it was spectactular! Combat was the tried and true combination of dodge rolls and stabby attacks with a heavy swing that comes at the cost of a massive windup time, giving for some variety in how to tackle any given fight. I'll have to see if the devs have done any other work because this makes me want to see more stories by the same team~
