This is a complete walkthrough for the Hopeless Rescue Challenge in the The Long Dark. I will show you how to complete it in 24 hours or less without ever sleeping. I will show you where to find and when to use emergency stims, how to find and when to brew and drink coffee, and other essential tips and tricks. I will show you the path I take from Mystery Lake to Timberwolf Mountain, my strategy for ascending the peak, and which cargo containers to open at the summit. I introduce you to my three campfire technique for brewing coffee and I show you how to get to the lighthouse on Desolation Point even in a blizzard. This challenge is easy to complete and hard to master!

Since recording this video I have managed to set a new record, finishing in 18 hours and 24 minutes.
