It's a tough call.

On the one hand, giving my enemies time to grow, much less leaving my flank largely unprotected isn't so good. But on the other, I can make large gains where my army is right now, and given the enormous travel time to cross my empire there's no way I'll ever bring them back this way once I turn around.

...So how much greed can I get away with before disaster?
