6The second and final paid DLC of the game, the Tale of a Timeless Tome, brings our heroes down to memory lane. In here, they will soon hear rumors of a mysterious rabbit appearing in people’s dreams. Upon meeting this said rabbit who introduces itself as the Conductor, they will soon learn about nightmares and how they secretly plot to bring darkness into the world. Thus, a new journey will begin in order to defeat these mysterious creatures; finally learn the true source of the darkness which continuously plagues and corrupts every living being in the world of Ni No Kuni and to reenter past memories which will further develop each of the main characters of the game.
This DLC, like the previous one, further adds new weapons, story quests and fighting methods in the game. Moreover, the Solosseum Slog makes a welcome return which pits the players to increasing battles in return for decent rewards.
Unlike the past DLC, this one is a much better improvement due to how there is much more lore added and discussed which makes ends meet and finally puts a conclusion in the game. Moreover, the Solosseum is a much better challenge mode than what the lair of the lost lord introduced. Although there are also a few new boss fights in this game, I still found it much better since it is not that repetitively used unlike the previous DLC. A much decent DLC indeed, Enjoy!
