Note: Earthshine illuminating the rest of the Waxing Crescent Moon's surface. This result was simulated by combining two recordings to give a simulated human eye look. This allows for greater sensitivity to capture the Earthshine. You would be able to see the light from the earth illuminating on the dark side of the moon. This is similar to the light from the earth illuminating on the dark side of the moon if you were to use binoculars such as the Canon 10x42L IS Image Stabilized Binoculars.
You may notice that their are two separate sections with atmospheric distortion. Unfortunate I have not found a solution when combining the atmospheric disturbance irregularities from both recordings as they were done at separate time.
