I was tooling around with ABA on this stage in Guilty Gear Strive, trying to be a bird. And if you leave the start area and come back, a little video plays in black and white with rain around it. I noticed it when i realized "Oh..... its raining in the game, and outside.... how long was i AFK?". ABA kept making the screen darken so i switched to May, as a threat.

The stage which i know is LITTERED with references, mostly to art. Now, please, let me go off for a minute and talk about art, but, i will say i do not know who the man is, i know a lot of Guilty Gear lore but this specific person i just can not find a reason for him to be an easter egg. I don't know if he is actually someone from an older game and the wiki page for the level has NO NOTES regarding Son of Man, René François Ghislain Magritte, Surrealism and so on, absolutely no references for a game basically built on references with a free fighting game attached (that is a joke but also for real lmao). Hell, it could be the guy that sentences Faust to the Dimensional Prison, i wouldn't know and i'm not gonna look (i spent enough time looking at art today). I will say he did a great job at the "Make you think up your own interpretation" part cause i've been sat here going over all of this.

Golconda, is the painting of red-roofed buildings and a mostly blue partly cloudy sky, with the air filled by dozens of nearly identical men dressed in dark overcoats and bowler hats, generally facing the viewer. The men are positioned as if standing, and may be falling, rising, or stationary in mid-air; no movement or motion is implied. They are equally spaced in a three-dimensional lattice, and receding back in rhombus grid layers. (Don't get me fucking started on hexagons...)

And as with Magritte's works it included a likeness of his friend, a Belgian French-language poet, anarchist, surrealist and civil servant, Louis Scutenaire in the painting – his face is used for the large man by the chimney of the house on the right of the picture.
Basically what i'm saying is go watch Interface by @abstractdaddy / u m a m i / a huge source of my creative thoughts. There's some Mischief in it for ya if you do go check it out... ;)
