A Hat in Time is a 3D Platformer by Gears for Breakfast, fully funded on Kickstarter back in 2013. Released just weeks before Super Mario Odyssey, the two games oddly had a lot in common. But while that may lead you to believe A Hat in Time is merely copying Nintendo's flagship series, that is not the case.

A Hat in Time became a cult hit right away, and still has a loyal and large fan community to this day. But there's just something that's holding it back for me...
