The trial mode is the hardest mode in the game where you have to beat 40 floors with randomly generated waves of ennemies.

The upgrades are permanent boosts that you can buy between each run, in this video I'm beating the trial mode without having bought any of the upgrades.

It is a very fun final challenge, at first I thought it would be luck based and it would require a great rng to be completed. But there's actually a lot more stategies you can make use of to beat this. For example I never had to use the Devotion spell to clear this mode initially ; but without the upgrades I had to test out all the possibilities and found out that devotion is actually a very very good spell. The only spell I never really used is the double strike, but I know that it is still situational and it could be used in someone else's strategy at certain points in the run.

I died to floor 38/39 and 40 before getting this clear c:!
