There are some games that you play, and get completely hooked on for reasons you can't entirely explain. For me, 7 Days to Die is one of those. The zombies help since I'm really into Resident Evil, but there's something that sits well with me for the gameplay loop, the combat, the crafting, the points of interest. Everything works so well together!

Well, everything, aside from this horrible start. I had no idea the game was going to spawn a zombie dog right next to my starting location. I really should have equipped the weapon I found in the first 30 seconds, instead of thinking I would have time to make my preferred spear before going in. Hindsights 20/20 though, and it made for a very tense opening!
