A Plague Tale: Innocence, released by in 2019 by French developer Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive, really fooled me with its marketing. At first I thought it was going to be an intensely realistic, gritty game about war from children's perspective. In a way, it still is, but man, was there far more fantastical and horrific places the game would go to than its ads initially suggested. In short, the game was one of the best surprises I've ever received. Watch to find out why this is the best Sony exclusive game that Sony never actually made!
