A Rhythm FPS Arena Roguelite | ROBOBEAT demo
2Hello everyone! Another demo I played during the Steam FPS Festival. This is ROBOBEAT, a rhythm fps arena roguelike, where you go from room to room, clearing enemies at the beat of the music. Gameplay is increidbly smooth, graphics are great and I really liked what they did with the HUD and some of the effects. However, weapons, upgrades and enemies felt quite boring, maybe because I was just starting, but just shooting with the same revolver over and over and over with no special effect got me tired over time, specially if most enemies were pretty passive and I would avoid them without issues, except by the selfdestructive one (and the traps... god I hate traps).
Probably if I give it another try with more unlocks I would have way more fun (because the game has huge potential), but I just didn't feel like going through it with the same boring gun, specially if the music wasn't my style.
