Welcome to A San Marino Challenge, where I will attempt to turn the small nation of San Marino into a world football powerhouse! The actual challenge involves taking San Marino to #1 in the World Rankings while simultaneously taking a club based in San Marino to Champions League glory. But it wouldn't be interesting to me without a few changes!

It's time for our first foray into the European knockout rounds! Our first match up is against Cercle Brugge, a team I feel like we can beat pretty comfortably. You can feel that with our lineup choices, which is full of back ups. Is this a mistake?

But first, we'll going to take a look at our youth intake! It's not the best intake, but there are a couple of solid players in there, plus another striker that might be great.
