In this game, you basically revisit the story of H.H. Holmes and his famous "murder hotel". A group of 5 documentary filmmakers mysteriously receive an email to this "murder hotel" but soon discover they are being watched and manipulated. How many will survive this story?

About The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me:
The Devil in Me takes inspiration from H. H. Holmes and his "Murder Castle", as well as various slasher films and franchises including Psycho (1960), The Shining (1980), Saw, Halloween, and Friday the 13th. The plot follows five members of a documentary film crew who are invited to a replica of Holmes' hotel on an island in Michigan so that they can film an episode of their series. It's not long before they discover their lives are at risk due to traps placed throughout the hotel and they must escape the island before Granthem Du'Met kills them. Jessie Buckley was marketed as the game's leading actress, marking the fourth time Supermassive Games cast a high-profile actor to portray a character for the series.
