After arriving to Mystic Jungle... Sonic, Silver, and Shadow are being put to test against a new challenger, Infinite! Shadow firstly finishes him off with his super finishing smash (mentioned in Super Smash Bros), but then Infinite slowly regains his health by becoming more powerful, and then pits himself against Sonic. But in the end of the battle, Infinite uses all power of the Phantom Ruby, and severely damages Sonic in battle! Next, Silver transports the blue blur, severely battered and bruised to the hospital, leaving Tails to keep watch for his condition updates to see if he gets better and heals up.
