This is a speedrun of the restricted any% normal difficulty category of Afterimage, a 2023 metroidvania developed by indie studio Aurogon Shanghai, and published by Modus Games (now Maximum Entertainment).

Proof of concept for picking up Scroll of Otherworld to get boat cutscene to work. It can't be properly tested without doing a real run, so this was one of my offline attempts at such.

It's a couple seconds of time loss to pick up Scroll, but we're thinking the Scythe of Contagion can also be picked up since it's closer to the boat itself.
