As a member of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, Dr Eisenberg took part in the very first research expedition on LV-1201. While at first the research team would have successes in studying the alien species, soon things would take a dark turn and Eisenberg would end up the only survivor. (This information can be found within the game in the predator campaign and is quite an interesting read) While he survived the ordeal, the traumatic experience still haunts him as shown in this cutscene.
