aliens vs. Predator is a continuation of a great series of shooters about the struggle of space Marines, Aliens and Predators. Rebellion studio, known from the first part of Aliens vs Predator, published in 1999, is responsible for creating the next installment. The title was published by Sega. In Aliens vs. Predator we play as representatives of the three most characteristic factions in this dark and brutal universe. People, represented by the Marines, are equipped with various technological achievements that allow them to stand up to an equal fight with alien races from other planets. Aliens, known from a series of American films and comic books, are a terrifying species of very durable and deadly creatures, whose only goal is development and reproduction. Predators, on the other hand, are haughty warriors and hunters who travel the galaxy in search of challenges and valuable trophies. Their distinctive technology and equipment allow them to gain partial invisibility and filter the environment for living creatures. Aliens vs.Predator consists of three story-related campaigns as standard. Each is dedicated to one of the above races - we play the role of a Predator, Xenomorph and a marine soldier - and presents completely different solutions in terms of gameplay mechanics. The game tells the story of the events taking place 30 years after the story known from the second part of the movie Alien. We move to the colonial planet BG-386, where the inhabitants discovered a strange pyramid. Unearthing it, of course, woke the Aliens up and thus interested the Predators.
In this part, the authors have introduced a number of changes. First of all, an attempt was made to balance the characters a bit. The aliens now move much slower and must employ a variety of devious tactics (e.g., turning off the power to blind human opponents). An interesting fact is that this time among the tasks of the Aliens is not only killing, but also assimilating innocent civilians. Predators, armed with advanced gadgets as standard, can also use various types of edges to move (jump) more efficiently. Marines are the most endangered and vulnerable race by default, but now with more modern weapons. The game is much more brutal than the original. As in the previous installment, we can visit many locations characteristic of individual races. So we travel through space colonial bases, decks of ships belonging to humans and aliens, and the surface of alien planets. We have a similar set of weapons at our disposal. So the Marines have rifles and grenades, the Aliens have claws and a deadly tail, and the Predators have a shoulder cannon, a crossbow, a spear and many other tools. A very important element of the game is online gameplay, which gives you the opportunity to use all the unique features of individual races in the fight against other players. The creators have prepared many interesting game modes. In online duels, the most important thing is to find yourself on the battlefield, stay alert and be patient.

Ludzie, reprezentowani przez Marines, wyposażeni są w najróżniejsze zdobycze technologiczne, które pozwalają im stanąć do równej walki z pochodzącymi z innymi planet obcymi rasami. Obcy, znani z serii amerykańskich filmów oraz komiksów, to przerażający gatunek bardzo wytrzymałych i śmiertelnie niebezpiecznych istot, których jedynym celem jest rozwój oraz reprodukcja. Predatorzy to natomiast wyniośli wojownicy i łowcy, podróżujący po galaktyce w poszukiwaniu wyzwań i cennych trofeów. Ich charakterystyczna technologia i wyposażenie pozwalają im uzyskać częściową niewidzialną oraz filtrować otoczenie w poszukiwaniu istot żywych.Aliens vs. Predator to standardowo trzy powiązane ze sobą fabularnie kampanie. Każda poświęcona jest jednej z powyższych ras – wcielamy się w Predatora, Xenomorpha oraz żołnierza marines - i przedstawia zupełnie inne rozwiązania w kwestii mechaniki zabawy.
