Amit Shah Vs Priyanka Gandhi On Covid-19 Vaccine
7Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi engaged in a war of words following the recent reports of side-effects of Covid-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.
Addressing a rally in Assam's Dhubri, Gandhi said the manufacturer of Covid-19 vaccine donated funds to BJP. She targeted the saffron party over the reports of side-effects caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine.
"Everyone received Covid-19 vaccine, did they not? The Covid-19 vaccine was administered to everyone in the country with [Prime Minister Narendra] Modi's photo. You received the vaccine certificate with Modi's picture. The manufacturer of the vaccine made donations to [the BJP]. And what emerged today? I read it in newspapers that there is something in that vaccine due to which 1-2% of people could get sick," said Gandhi.
