saves around 1:45 over current WR. maybe less in actuality maybe more who knows

death plane skip: land where i land when the endscreen activates, follow the angle of the rock i'm next to with a simple double jump over to the other side. pretty lenient. now shoot qwark into the death plane and punch double jump bottom-right, latch onto the swingshots and swivel that stick like it's mario party - if you're fast you'll always get launched away from the death plane and you can control yourself midair too. too slow and you'll launch on the left side, causing you to die.

bouncepads: pick your poison. the easiest thing to do is get voltergeist cutscene, so hold right on the first bounce then land on the 4th pad, and similarly with the second bounce land on the second-last pad. you want to be slightly further right than your cursor at the top of the screen indicates!

voltergeist: skipping the gravoid cs IS risky but as long as you're confident you should make it over with a hyperstrike. qwark critterstrikes that second gravoid which doesn't happen in a run, you have to punch double jump up to the checkpoint.

bounce swingshot skip: once you land next to the bolt grabber later on, let qwark go onto your back. punch double jump up to the top of the dome then land on the rock's edge in front of it. you want to shoot qwark off and then quickly punch double jump and head towards the pipe. the timing of the second double jump is essential, don't fall below the 'connector' part of that pipe. learning the correct timing and spacing for the hyperstrike is fucking hard man i don't know, this is the hardest part of the segment easily.

village load-in: after the above skip, immediately beeline for the floating rock then shoot qwark off into the distance, away from the camera. you'll get the load if you see the skybox temporarily despawn for a sec or two. then just jump off to the right and latch onto the first swingshot

swingshot before brute/brute stuff: i shoot qwark off the ledge but that is NOT NECESSARY IN ANY%, purely doing it bc he equips ryno and fucks me over here in ng+. anyway. make sure he's trying to rope to you at least since you need a decent camera to make the brute skip work

SUSIE GRAVOID CUTSCENE CRASH PREVENTION: ok, on the final bridge walk past the posts slightly then immediately double back onto the rocky ground and wait. you'll see susie's balloon fly in and the cutscene will start. LET GO OF THE FUCKING CONTROLLER and wait for the entire thing to play out, not moving until you can see the posts of the bridge fence again. you should be fine to kill things now

glob lobber swingshot bounce: i fucked up here and was very lucky not to lose the attempt here. ideally, you make sure qwark is off your back, punch double jump up and attach onto the swingshot node then you'll safely glide down to the ground after a while. you can SKIP THE GRAVOID BRUTE but it's a little risky and i haven't figured out the right way to do it yet. killing it allows qwark to be on your back as well, which is much safer for the next skip

glob lobber voltergeist skip: once qwark is on your back, get onto the first rock, single jump onto the second rock then regular double jump up to the jagged part of the pipe. as long as you both stay up there you can get to the end of the section and then do endscreen skip as normal

VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS SWEEPERS CRASH PREVENTION: ok, you will see me do some weird maneuvers after the first set of sweepers. once you get up to that ammo pad platform before the swingshot bounce, shoot qwark off and then navigate yourself with a punch double jump *forward* and then leftwards to latch onto the node. if you land on that highest layer of rock sweeper bots will spawn and crash the game - be aware!

final punch double jump chain: you will need to punch double jump both of these things very quickly, making it up to the second-highest layer above the spawner then punch double jumping all the way up and over the huge invis wall above the other spawner. looks risky, you have a reasonable amount of lenience, don't overthink it. maybe there's an easier solution that i haven't found yet
