Boromir and Aragorn had a special and complex friendship. I would even go so far as to say the Boromir encompasses everything that is Lord of the Rings in one character. Of all the characters in Lord of the Rings, none are as complete and full of triumph and despair as Boromir. The tragedy of the Ring of Power and all that was to be lost or gained by the determination of men.
