first released in a box called Combat Arena back in 2019 through a book store chain then added into blackstone fortress in a pricy expansion the female primaris psyker Arcadia Madellan has been floating around warhammer circles for a while but due to her limited (and expensive) availabilities it wasn't till early 2023 that most guard players were able to get hold of her as the model finally got a stand alone release almost four years after it was released in limited run sets.

so the sculpt it's self is nice and I share my main thoughts on the model in the video, it's nice that this model now gives the guard a plastic option for primaris psykers, it would have been nice if she could have been joined by a plastic battle psyker squad but gw decided with the 9th ed codex to discontinue the metal models and pull the rules for that unit from the book so i guess we miss out on them.

so in 9th edition 40k this model no longer has unique rules like she did when she was part of blackstone fortress as while the pdf's may be valid they aren't actively supported last i checked so that means the model is only usable as a generic primaris psyker in current games of warhammer, that may change though depending on how things go with tenth edition though if you play 8th edition warhammer 40,000 still her datasheet is still floating around the internet and maybe battle scribe so you can find it for use in that edition of the game
