SITREP: After the capture of three of the outer islands of Suursaari, the 15th MEU was not able to make the crossing to the main island due to a temporary loss of local air superiority. With local air superiority regained, the 15th MEU looks to capitalize on the shock and disruption of Russian forces in the region to make a move into the southern part of the main island. Two areas of operations have been selected and will be cleared to establish a beachhead on the main island and to capture one of the island's main resupply ports.
