Assassin's Creed Unarmed Takedown is Evolving, Just Backwards

Every Assassin’s Creed game has had non-lethal takedowns and combat options since AC Brotherhood. In the Ezio games and the Kenway saga you could perform non-lethal takedowns by assassinating while unarmed, and in terms of combat you could easily beat the whole Kenway saga with your fists only if you wanted to (especially after sleep darts were introduced). Unity perfected the formula by adding non-mandatory finishers and a dedicated takedown button. Origins backtracked a bit, but you could still perform non-lethal takedowns by equipping your fists. Odyssey re-added the much welcome knockout button.
