Act Two takes place in the Shadow-Cursed Lands and drastically changes the story’s tone as you fight to take down the Cult of the Absolute and the seemingly immortal warlord Ketheric Thorm. Almost the entirety of Act Two takes place in the Shadow-Curse Lands, and the various buildings that dot the area. On your way to the Moonrise Towers to confront Ketheric Thorm you will enter the Gauntlet of Shar and find out more about Shadowheart's backstory, the Nightsong, and pass through a cursed town known as Reithwin. Once you've breached Moonrise Towers and confront Ketheric Thorm you will learn of the true plan behind the Cult of the Absolute.
