Balthazar's Dream Review - The Golden Bolt
Today, in my 30th proper review, I'm looking at the first PC game I've played for the channel! Let's dive into the subconscious world of Balthazar's Dream, a 2D puzzle-platformer released in May of 2017. Is this game a sleeper hit, or should you hit the snooze button? Let's find out!

Developed by a small indie studio named Psilocybe Games (which I pronounce PsiloBYTE for some reason...), Balthazar's Dream puts you in control of a dog named Balthazar as he journeys through his own guilt-induced dream. Why is he guilty? Because his master Dustin was hit by a car while chasing after a frisbee during a game of fetch. Balthazar is determined to find his master and save him, no matter the cost.
