Paris. Die Stadt der Liebe.
Die beiden altbekannten Hauptcharaktere Nicole Collard und George Stobbart treffen sich bei der Eröffnung einer Bilderausstellung wieder. Viel Zeit für Smalltalk bleibt allerdings nicht. Wenige Minuten später betritt ein angeblicher Pizzabote die Räumlichkeiten, raubt ein Gemälde und erschießt auf der Flucht den Galeriebesitzer.
