Bat Boy - All Bosses (No Damage, Bat Only*) & Ending
32Defeating all of the bosses in Bat Boy using only the basic attack and taking no damage. The only exception is that Moonstar has an attack that draws you in for an explosion - it's possible for them to start this while pogoing them and have no time to escape without the dash move. I opted to use it twice to escape rather than wait for perfect RNG. A lot of the moves you get, especially the initial Batspin, lets you deal more damage for quicker kills.
Your crime-fighting sports buddies are brainwashed by a villain (except your character since you can bat brainwashing away of course) and the only way to save them is to repeatedly hit them with your bat. Overall, it's a pretty enjoyable game that combines Mega Man and Shovel Knight. From a hitless perspective there is some frustrating RNG that can occur with bosses, such as Moonstar lobbing a bunch of boomeranging projectiles at once (and sometimes they just stay up indefinitely) or the Basketeer lobbing 4-5 giant basketballs that you can't get rid of.
There is also a bug with Lord Vicious' first phase where after a number of retries he no longer can do his fireball or lightning attacks (or rather, he does the animation for them but nothing happens, making the fight significantly easier). Quitting the level and redoing it was the only way to reset this.
There is also dialogue for the boss introduction, the start of phase two (for almost all bosses), and then defeating them. I cut all of this out other than for the ending.
