Take on the role of Bat Boy in this 2D side-scrolling action platformer where the powerful sorcerer, Lord Vicious from another dimension, has manipulated Bat Boy's fellow teammates into participating in the grueling Trials of Darkness. These Trials consist of incredibly brutal athletic challenges! It's now Bat Boy's responsibility to join forces with the outspoken crow named Garou and navigate through a hostile world in order to liberate his brainwashed sports-hero teammates. He must also acquire their unique abilities before they succumb to the perils of the Trials. Throughout his journey, Bat Boy will encounter a diverse cast of characters, some of whom are allies, but most are foes. He must battle his way through various levels, overcoming adversaries, until he finally faces the ultimate showdown with Lord Vicious.
