Amata takes a look at the indie chess strategy game Battle vs Chess by Targem. This is a top down battle chess game that has several modes, from classic chess to random rules and pieces available. She gives her opinion and analysis on the game, including the gameplay, controls, graphics, graphics options and menu screen, as well as how beginner friendly the game is.
As well as several singleplayer modes including a campaign, skirmish and challenge mode, there is also multiplayer available for this game. You are shown a little bit of the campaign in this video as well as the skirmish mode. You can also get a good look at the PC keyboard and mouse controls, as well as the graphics and aesthetic of the game. Battle vs Chess does come with a tutorial explaining the basic rules of chess, as well as a helpful hint system that will give you hints and help on what move to make next. Each of the pieces has it's unique design, depending on what side you pick. Instead of white and black, you have Order and Chaos and both sides of the game are shown within this video. As always, this is a first impressions review.
