After watching DustinEden attempt and fail at a stock RX8 only challenge in NFS Carbon, I got inspired to try a similar challenge - beat 100% of the game using an RX8. The difference? I allow upgrades to the car.

To those unfamiliar with NFS Carbon - the Mazda RX8 is one of the 3 starter cars that you can pick at the beginning of the game. It isn't exactly "that bad", though it gets outclassed by the Mazdaspeed 3 in Tier 1, making it obsolete rather quick. It is, however, one of the slowest cars in the game, right up there with the Brera (which is also one of the starter cars), even with upgrades.

As a former speedrunner of this game, I thought this challenge was gonna be a piece of cake. Once I got to Silverton though, things suddenly got much more difficult. Wolf in particular took a dozen tries to actually beat. I could probably make another separate video on how many attempts it took me to beat Wolf. Reminds of the days when I used to struggle with the speed strat of overtaking him in the Viper to unlock the Corvette during a speedrun.

I have another 2 videos planned of this challenge, one of which will obviously be my Darius attempt(s). The other? I'll leave it a surprise. Those who saw the stream know what I'm talking about. Those who didn't will find out in due time.
