Behind The Scenes Of Illusiion The Short Film entry for My RØDE Reel 2019
0Illusiion focus on Morpheus talking about an unusual dream. The colour of the short would play a huge role in setting his world. The location was a room that was a spare of one of the crew members and a beach that was a location nearby. The limitations of the budget and the actor having a broken nose(yay!) made it hard to do the dream sequence to the full extent as in the script. We had to improvise and contain the actor in one shot being this element of " not being able to move aspect" to his dream. The main source of the sound was captured via Videomic and Smart Lav+. We used stop motion as well. With Visual Effects mainly being used to create a virtual shot of "travelling through the universe". This was achieved by using the particle effect and adding a virtual camera to move through the particles that were made to look like balls of stars in a wider universe.
