Since I was asked several times if I could make a longplay, here it is. It's Beneath a Steel Sky, a science fiction adventure game developed by Revolution Software and published by Virgin Interactive in 1994. The CD-ROM intro and the backgrounds were done by the British comic artist Dave Gibbons. In 2003, the full version has been released as freeware to support ScummVM, a cross-platform interpreter to play classic adventure games on modern systems.

The story of the game is about a guy named Robert Foster, who has been adopted by a local group in the "Gap" (the Australian Outback) after he survived a plane crash as a little kid. They taught him the skills to survive in this environment and he also learned engineering and technology and built a talking robot called Joey. After he grew up, he was kidnapped by storm-troopers to bring him back to Union City where he originally came from. Fortunately, the helicopter got out of control and he was able to escape. Now he has to find a way out of this city.
