On a similar note as the previous record are crafted three tracks adhering to the core tenets of black metal. Blast beats thunder, guitars shriek with vehement abhorrence, and venomous vocals snarl forth. However, Black Lycanthropy elevates this foundation with a melodic twist. The fast-paced and stomping riffs weave a surprisingly catchy counterpoint to the brute aggression.
This three-track EP is a whirlwind of headbanging fury. While some might criticise the familiar formula, there's no denying the expert execution. This relentless energy is infectious, and listeners will find themselves swept away by the maelstrom of sound.
Even though it might not break new ground conceptually, it is a potent offering for those seeking a quick shot of pure, unadulterated aural assault.
