This month marks the 30th anniversary of Blaster Master. The first game launched In November 1988 for the NES in North America. Usually I don’t mention the Japanese names in these retrospectives because they’re too similar, but Blaster Master, as a whole, has a strange history. For example, it was called Chô Wakusei Senki Metafight in Japan. Find out more about the series in my accompanying video. Enjoy!
