This is my review of the video game Blue Stinger on the Sega Dreamcast.

It was developed by Climax Graphics, published by Activision, distributed by Sega, directed by Ayumu Kojima, composer
Toshihiko Sahashi, and released on March 25th 1999 in Japan, September 9th 1999 in North America, and October 14th 1999 in Europe.

It is an action survival horror game, and the environments are entirely 3D.

Players heal themselves in real-time using food and drinks bought from vending machines, forcing players to heal only when it was safe. Combat consists of purchasing weapons and ammunition in the same manner, including swords, rocket launchers, Napalm launchers and triple-barreled shotguns.

Eliot starts out with a pistol while Dogs starts with a crossbow. Besides shooter game elements, the game also uses beat 'em up elements when weapons are not equipped.

Explore a mysterious island: Solve puzzles and avoid hazzards in seven areas and 230 locations.

Survive the terror on Dinosaur Island: As one secret uncovers another, you piece together a horrifying revelation that could lead to the end of life on Earth.

Play an action movie: You swim, drive, climb, fight and blast through a cinematic 3-D world.

Fight for your life: Master awesome hand-to-hand moves and 22 massive weapons with explosive SFX!

Choose from two heroes: Choose between sea rescue expert Eliot Ballade, or weapons specialist Dogs Bower.

It's the best ever Christmas game IMO, and one of my all time favourite games.
