10Journey of Ascendancy is an experimental album with the express purpose of allowing me to mess around with different musical ideas that I normally wouldn't explore.
Lost to Lakes is an experimental song meant to very directly represent the idea of drowning. It's an idea that I've only subtly played with in the past, mainly with songs like Immersion from Pixels, or some of the songs from Refractions that are tied to Aqua (i.e. Flaredrowner or Wavy Reflections), so I thought to myself, "Why not go all in?"
