This run comes to an end. The game was as enjoyable and ever and didn't really change my opinion of the game. I will always recommend this game, with the possible note that it's pretty different than the subsequent Borderlands games.

The next playthrough to watch is Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. Though it's technically bookended by cutscenes that place the game after Borderlands 2, the events in the game itself take place between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, and I've decided to play the games in their order of events within the Borderlands universe.
