Both GREAT and TERRIBLE! | Tomb Raider I-III Remaster REVIEW
147Today I'm tossing out there a review of the new Tomb Raider I-III Remaster (Starring Lara Croft) release from this week, available on PC, Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. Took a few days to play through significant sections of each game and come back here with my impressions. This title is a collection of the first 3 Tomb Raider games, which were popular on PC and Playstation 1 in the 90s... with updated graphics, controls, and mild features.
TLDR
I love these great games, but everything that's good about this collection is the same things that were good about the original games. The update does nothing to address the game's controls, features, or conveniences for the modern era. Which is a shame... because with such a strong base set of games, I believe this collection could've been much, much more stellar.
