Clickbaity title aside, some of these fights really do feel somewhat impossible as in there are times where I feel like I'm not making any process. Holly and Barras for example: A new player will not know to attack and wear down both bosses so that when Barras uses Invigorate, that 25% of backfire will go off. Holly seemingly has infinite MP and will always recover more than you can put out in damage. Logic would tell any veteran player or new player "Oh, that person heals herself or her companion. I should take her out first." Yet, if you are not able to out-damage her healing, you don't progress in the fight.
Thus this creates the illusion that either the fight is an endurance match or the fight is impossible. The battle with Derosa lasted well over 35 minutes and this is my fault for not exploring other jobs that could handle Derosa's fighting style. I figured that if fewer people attacked, there's less of a chance of "Vengence" being proc'd. I managed to win the battle but dragged it out longer than I would have wanted it to.
