Watch my desastrous first part in which I play like absolute fucking dogshit and get mauled by every single enemy between the starting point and the manor.

I used to be able to do that part without taking any damage at all.

I can probably blame lack of practice and being nearly twenty years older since the last time I played this. I’m sure it will come back to me. I seem to remember this game is reasonably generous with provisions, so using one too many first aid kits near the beginning shouldn't have any lasting consequences.

I snipped out a couple of seconds of footage in this first part when I accidentally brought up the PlayStation 5 classics settings menu overlay. Since it wasn't part of the original game, I thought it would be nearly as distracting as my terrible gameplay. It's right near the end of the video and I did my best to edit it out as seamlessly as possible. I daresay you could still spot the join if you wanted to.
