Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the eighth main Call of Duty game, and the fifth developed by Infinity Ward. It's the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and is the third and final installment in the original Modern Warfare series. Modern Warfare III retains the realistic, modern setting of its predecessors and continues the sub-series' storyline. The story follows multi-national special operations unit Task Force 141 tracking down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist planning to trigger a third World War.
