Crystal Laser of Doom[Boss]:
The Crystal Laser of Doom is a boss in Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness.

Description:
The Crystal Laser of Doom encompasses a whole room at the end of the Tower of Science. It is armed with lasers and a variety of other machines guns. The crystal is actually the weak point, and getting past its defenses is the only way to take down this guardian.

Duel Tower[Stage]:
The Duel Tower is a location in Castlevania and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. It is a tower composed of small battle arenas containing werebeasts.

Overview:
Though a tower, the structure of the level is different in that the flow differs from other tower-like stages. The path the player travels on takes him higher and higher, thought it doesn't really feel that way. The stage itself is also rather straight-forward and a touch non-descript, save for the majority of the stage, which contain various caged-in fights with monsters, the "duels".

In these duels, a metal cage is dropped and the ceiling begins to slowly descend. If the player is successful in killing the monster inside, he can escape and continue "climbing" the tower. If he is not, he will either be killed by the monster or the crushing ceiling.

In between the battles, the player must climb the tower on the multiple platforms that appear between the cages, thought this is a precarious climb, as the platforms are above a very high drop to a pit of acidic liquid below, and swinging, spiked arms can knock him around, possibly even off the platform. Rather infamously, the level in Castlevania 64 does not contain a single save crystal, meaning the whole thing must be completed in one go.

Once the player reaches the top, he can escape the tower and end the level.

Were-Panther[Boss]:
The Were-Panther is an enemy in the Castlevania series. It is a werebeast resembling an anthropomorphic panther.

Origins:
The were-jaguar was both an Olmec motif and a supernatural entity, perhaps even a deity. As the major predator of Mesoamerica, the jaguar was revered by pre-Columbian societies, and adoption of jaguar motifs by the ruling elite was used to reinforce or validate leadership.

The basic were-jaguar motif combines a cleft head, slanting almond-shaped eyes with round irises, and a down-turned open mouth with a flared upper lip and toothless gums. It appears widely in the Olmec archaeological record.

The were-jaguar supernatural incorporates the were-jaguar motif, as well as other features. It was once considered to be the primary deity of the Olmec culture, but is now thought to be only one of many.

Castlevania (N64)/Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness:
The Werejaguar (renamed "Were-Leopard" in Legacy of Darkness) is encountered as a boss during the Duel Tower portion of Reinhardt's quest. Even though it's the weakest of the game's werebeast opponents, it's high speed and agility can make it a frustrating opponent to face.

Werewolf[Boss]:
The Werewolf, also known as Wolf Man, is an enemy in the Castlevania series. He is a man with lycanthropy who transforms into a ferocious beast when the moon is full and has developed a taste for blood. He is occasionally paired up with another fellow werebeast: the Minotaur.

Description:
Werewolves (also known as Wolf Men, Lycanthropes or Lypustons) are common werebeast foes. Their appearance in the series isn't surprising; mythologically, werewolves and vampires are closely related, and some cultures consider them the same manner of creature. An aversion to silver is a trait common to both, werewolves and vampires, and both are creatures cursed to roam the night in search of innocent victims to sate their hunger. The victim of a vampire or werewolf becomes one themself.

Death is the only sure release from the curse, as seen in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Once defeated by Richter, the werewolf transforms back into an ordinary man before expiring.

One playable werewolf is Cornell from Legacy of Darkness and Judgment.

W.Bull[Boss]:
???

Weretiger[Boss]:
Castlevania (N64)/Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness:
The Were-Tiger is an anthropomorphic tiger warrior. Its large body is covered in orange and black fur, and it has a small white mane across its face. It is the largest and most powerful of all werebeast enemies in both games, albeit also slow and plodding.

It only moves towards the player and grabs him when he is close enough to crush him on the ground.
