Cavalcadence plays Melting 3 - 1st time defeating the Throne (& 1st Loop!)
So I picked up Nuclear Throne via the Humble Indle Bundle 17, and I've been playing it off-and-on since then. I've mostly been playing Crystal and Melting... more Melting than Crystal recently, though. =)
Anyway... yay, I finally made it back to the Throne Room! =) I still didn't know exactly what to expect from the Throne battle, but at least this time, I knew to avoid that first laser attack! ^^;;;
And I had Long Arms this time... which definitely helped! =) Anyway, here's the video... hope you enjoy!

0:02 Melting + Golden Wrench
0:04 1-1: "The wind hurts"

0:29 Grenade Launcher! Golden Wrench + Grenade Launcher has worked pretty well for me in the past, so... =)
0:42 M1: Sharp Teeth. Hmm, not the choices I wanted... but I guess Sharp Teeth might be the most-- wait, this seems awfully familiar... are these the same choices I got during my Skeleton run? =p (ed. note: I went back and checked... three of the four mutations were the same... so not exactly the same choices, but pretty close!)
0:52 1-2: "The wind hurts". Speaking of "awfully familiar"... isn't that the same quote the game used for 1-1? ^^;

21:13 Oh good, I can damage the generators now! I've actually heard that destroying the generators is required for Looping... Hopefully it'll also weaken the Throne... though I suspect it won't. =p

24:42 Loop! =) Oh wait, IDPD! Ack was not prepared for this whoops weapon is still on Grenade Launcher have to switch back to Golden Wrench ow definitely took some damage there did I just lose Strong Spirit no time to check now is that all of them no wait one more left and... done!

So that was my first ever Throne victory, first ever Loop... and first ever Throne II battle. ^^;;
