This released 6 months ago and wanted to check it out since, but didn't knew how to extract the Switch version files, and the steam "data" folder doesn't work, it has to be the switch files, anyway, this mod takes the Cave Story 3D areas and puts them in the 2D version, In the first loop I didn't found the "Inner Wall" in the Plantation because I forgot the rules of 3D don't apply to the 2D game, in the 3D version is like a side exit, not a door, so in the second loop I did (To see what the mimiga on top of the village was and see if I missed anything else) I found out that you have to press "Down" like a regular door, and here are my thought on the mod, It's alright, Some areas from the 3D don't translate good at all to the 2D game in my opinion, and call me crazy, but the Inner Wall feels so short compared to the 3D version, I should check it out later, also the prinny cap doesn't work, it should give a blue cap and it doesn't. As for minor stuff, theres a Corner in the waterway that doesn't have water, is a single corner that sticks out. Other than that, this mod is alright
