Episode details:
After finally getting past that dreaded Beyond the Heart section, I get to rest with some cutscenes and slower levels. I then reach the final part of the chapter where I get to use the skills I've learned throughout the chapter along with the helps of the birb and Badeline to overcome really tough but fun obstacles. And that final screen tho! This was a great finale to the chapter. Overall, the platforming aspect of this chapter is my favorite in the entire game.

Story review:
This chapter was a mixed bag for me in terms of the story. I like the idea of it. It has that dark and mature theme that the previous chapters have while still being a little goofy and silly every now and then. I really like how the chapter progresses with different moods and emotions that Madeline goes through and I like how it was resolved in the end. That being said, I think it lacks substance. There were parts of the chapter that could've been longer and have more content to it (Joy of Remembrance) and other parts were too long (Beyond the Heart). I would've liked a little better pacing too. If you watch all of my chapter 9 videos, you'd see that the lengths of each video weren't very even besides the last two; and even then, that's because I lump the super depressed section together with the redemption section because the former was very short while the latter was just the right length, especially for the finale. I also didn't like much of the dialogue between Madeline and Badeline besides the beginning and end of their conflict; it didn't really go anywhere and they keep repeating stuff to each other. It's probably supposed to feel repetitive because that's how real life internal conflicts are usually like but I still wanted more interesting interactions. The dream aspect of this chapter I actually like, especially considering it's occurred before in Chapter 2, and I do like that it lets super crazy and wacky stuff happen like going into space, but I feel like they didn't enough with it; like they should've allowed other people to enter the dream like Theo or Madeline's parents so that there'd be more character interaction and have the conflict be somewhat external rather than just being completely internal. Anyway, that's my whole review of Celeste Chapter 9. Overall, did it live up to the previous chapters? Yeah I think so. It had a good beginning, a rough middle, and a great ending, and I'm satisfied with that. I would love it if there'll be more chapters added but this is a good enough ending to the whole game.

Finale notes:
This is the final episode of my playthrough of Celeste (for now). I will continue this game if another update adds something major to the game. I will not be doing videos for the golden strawberries (I might as a different series in the future but not for let's play purposes) because they're nothing new, you just run through the levels you've already played without dying and that's it. They're not even fun for me to do most of the time.

Song review:
Chapter 9 has my favorite songs in the entire game. The music in the game overall is incredible. No offense to Matt Makes Games, but Lena Raine carried this game with her songs. 11/10 Love it!!!
