Celeste - Stargazing (by me)
17My first ever custom map! Heavily inspired by Ivory, with bits of Nelumbo and Solar thrown in. I made it mostly just to see how the mapmaking tools work so I can better appreciate the work that's gone into actual maps, but if anyone actually wants to try it, you can grab it here: https://gamebanana.com/mods/509321
A mostly one man project over 2 weeks with some playtesting help from a personal friend, this is a short map consisting of 1 tutorial room, 5 main gameplay rooms, and 1 slightly hidden strawberry. I would say the difficulty of the main rooms is around high Expert to low Grandmaster level (think Psychokinetic with jellyfishes), with the strawberry around mid to high Grandmaster level (probably close to Ivory). The gameplay is focused on using jellyfishes and dream blocks(sometimes with dash crystals inside) to build and keep speed.
