Croc arrived on home consoles in the middle of the 3D platformer craze of the late nineties. As became the standard, a 2D version eventually came to the Game Boy Color. Sadly, the game struggles with almost game-breaking controls and gameplay. Croc moves from left to right, jumps on enemies and collects items, like most 2D platformers. It's not a particular imaginative design, but its execution leaves even more to be desired. Croc is a platformer that feels unfinished on the Game Boy Color.
