Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of King Arthur for the Nintendo GameCube developed by Krome Studios and published by Konami.

Based on the hit 2004 movie, King Arthur puts the sword in your hands! This game is a hack-and-slash action game in which players control four characters from the film—Arthur, Lancelot, Guinevere, Bors and Tristan. Each character has their own strengths and special moves, and they can upgraded with experience points after each level. The combat is comprised of sword fights, ranged attacks and horseback combat, allowing players several ways to slash their way to glory. The game is similar to the popular Lord of the Rings games developed by Electronic Arts, emphasizing combat through linear levels. King Arthur comes from the developers of several Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Star Wars and Legend of Spyro games. The game features single-player play and local co-op.

This video review features video gameplay footage of King Arthur for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
